​James Halloran

Born in New York in 1946, James discovers early on his affinity for art. Upon the presentation of his portfolio, he is accepted in the prestigious School of Visual Arts in N.Y. in 1964 where he majors in fine arts and illustration.  He is a postgraduate student for an additional year (1968) which paves the way for a life in the art field.  While working in various art related jobs and projects, he exhibits in galleries in N.Y. , Boston, Miami, Phoenix, where his work has great success. In 1992 he moved to Lausanne and exhibits regularly in Switzerland.

 

Realism, surrealism and trompe-l'oeil, his work is colored with dream and imagination. His medium is essentially oil.
